ADVANCED PASSWORD MANAGER - FULL REVIEW

Advanced Password Manager allows you to manage your passwords and logins from a password protected database. You can organize your entries in category folders, add comments, and create a custom login template for each, that allows you to login automatically without having to copy/paste information first. Additional features include a password generator and import/export options. All your logins are also available from the system tray icon.

This password manager lets you enter all your passwords in one place, assign a login and a password for a specific URL, and use the program's autofill feature later. The program uses an U.S.-government-approved encryption standard.

The organization system for passwords is especially useful if you end up accumulating a lot of logins.

The Program falls short of the Gold and Silver winning programs because the auto save and login features are not as good and the program is not able to auto fill forms and card details from identities.

The Program is specified for Windows up to XP

If you've been using the Internet actively for over a year, you probably have at least a dozen  different logins and passwords to remember - one for your e-mail, couple for your credit cards and bank accounts, a few more for online newspapers and magazines, and one for each online shop or auction where you made your purchases.

You probably tried to use the same password for each account just to find out it is not possible - banks usually require you enter your SSN, various websites have different password requirements and some sites assign you a password without letting you change it. Besides, security experts say that you should use different passwords to protect yourself.

Are you fed up with forgetting your passwords and getting "Your login or password is incorrect" messages?

Then it's time you get Advanced Password Manager. The main advantage of this password management software is that you can enter all your passwords in one place, assign a login and password for a specific URL and use the program's autofill feature. All you have to do is to remember one password for using it, and the program will remember the rest of your passwords for you.

The other great thing about this Password Manager is the interface - simple, eye-pleasing, and very straightforward. You can create different groups for your login and password information, which makes cataloguing your confidential data very convenient. This program also has a built-in password generator that can generate passwords according to your templates.

Advanced Password Manager

The main features of password management software are:

- comfortable graphical user interface with categories tree
- allow clipboard operations with entries
- Unlimited folders for grouping
- autofill feature!
- built-in password generator

It may take you some time to learn all of the features. There are many features included with this program, but they can be difficult to navigate. Once you get the hang of it the system, it becomes easier to use. We had to go through the user manual two or three times to learn how many of the features work. Especially the autofill.

Like similar password programs Advanced Password Manager relies on you to pre-fill your database and then you can access the feature from the system tray.

The auto save and login features are not as good as they might be and the program is not able to auto fill forms and card details from identities but it works well for organizing a large number of logins.
